Red wattle lapwing

Red wattle lapwing family select our farm as their breeding ground. female bird laid  four eggs. speckled eggs on small shallow place. fully exposed to sun. both parents took their turns incubating eggs. most marvelous thing was four eggs hatch two day  before rain start. chicks came out and their colors blends with surrounding small plants. these birds do enormous service to our farm. 

1.    They are our early warning system. if someone or animal come to land they alarm intruder.

2.    They eliminate our pests bugs for free

3.     They keep company with us all the time.

now all four chicks grew well and healthy now we have six red wattle lapwings, two adults and chicks.
