calotes calotes is one of very colorful lizard is my Organic farm. one of my pest controlling friend. This lizards are very good camouflaging animals. But when they feel threaten they change their color into bright red. this picture taken when I walk in farm I saw this lizard on Jamun tree camouflaging its color based on color of the tree it was resting.
it eat lot of bugs ants and other insects. help to farmers to control insect population. this controlling pests using other wild animal verity we call biological pest control.
